Explosion Wounds 8, Knocks Down School Wall

Eight construction workers were injured when an explosion went off as they were working on repairs as Crittenden Middle School in Virginia. The explosion, which went off at about 7 am on Sunday, blew a 50-foot hole in a shop classroom.

The eight construction workers were taken to local hospitals to be treated for injuries and burns. One of the workers is listed as being in critical condition. Investigators are currently unsure what caused the explosion.
